In a 14-second clip, several people in the group are shown jumping on the hood. The teens also appeared to take turns damaging the car. One teen was seen using his bike to smash the hood while another was seen jumping onto the windshield, causing it to partially shatter and collapse.
In another clip posted on a separate Twitter account, another teenager was seen repeatedly hitting the side of a car.
On Thursday, de Blasio promised that the perpetrators of the attack would be held accountable.
« Look, we must teach our youth better all the time, » he said, « It is a duty for all of us but we also have to have consequences, so there will be consequences in this case. » « I don’t want to see something like this in New York City. »
Police told Fox News that they had received a report of a damaged car in the Fifth Avenue and East 21st Street at around 4 pm, but the suspects fled the scene.

The driver, Max Turgovnik, told LJ New York Post Wednesday that he and his 70-year-old mother made a donation to a nonprofit when they met about 50 bike riders.
